BREAKING: We're going to court. The Biden Administration approved the Willow oil project without adequately assessing its climate impacts. It could've properly weighed its options to limit the impact. It could've said no. It didn't. And now, we are filing a lawsuit to stop it.
Together with @NRDC, we filed a legal challenge claiming the Biden administration has failed to consider alternatives that could have meaningfully reduced greenhouse gas emissions and on-the-ground effects of the Willow Project.
The lawsuit also takes the administration to task for failing to assess Willow’s full climate impact, by neglecting to consider the additional climate pollution of future development that can only happen once Willow project infrastructure is in place. 
.#StopWillow Update : As of today, March 7, 2023, the Biden Administration has not officially approved the Willow Project. However, the "Record of Decision" could be announced any moment now. So in the meantime, here are THREE ACTIONS you can take in this critical moment.

On a warming planet, a project like Willow is insane. @conocophillips would have to use massive "earth chillers" to refreeze the melting arctic tundra (due to climate change) to even be able to drill for more oil - further exacerbating climate change.
