Die (Poly-)Neuropathie meiner Mutter wurde ausgelöst durch Schädigungen, die sie sich in ihrer Kindheit in den 1940-ern durch schwere Verläufe der üblichen #Kinderkrankheiten zuzog. Damals gab es weder #Impfungen noch andere wirksame Behandlungsmethoden. (2/x)
Die Nachkriegszeit war zudem noch durch Mangel gekennzeichnet. Schon als Jugendliche bemerkte meine Mutter, dass sie bestimmte körperliche Fähigkeiten nicht hatte wie andere Kinder und Jugendliche. Z.B. konnte sie niemals das Schlittschuh- oder Schilaufen erlernen. (3/x)
