Esta conquista pionera, que cambió el rumbo de la historia, no se entendería sin el liderazgo de la gran #KateSheppard (4ª x la izq. sentada) y algo más... Un objeto que para #SusanBAnthony era el que “ha hecho más por la emancipación de la 👩🏽 que ninguna otra cosa en el🌍”(2/6).
Este artilugio “emancipador” no era otra cosa que la 🚲. Un vehículo sencillo al alcance de muchas mujeres que supuso dejar a un lado el corsé, les ayudó a conquistar el espacio público sintiéndose más seguras y permitió tejer con mayor amplitud redes de #sororidad (3/6).
#HistoriaFeminista El resultado 🗳 de los 🇺🇸 nos ha traído una doble alegría a mucha gente: la salida de @realDonaldTrump y la llegada a la vicepresidencia de una 👩🏽, @KamalaHarris. Un éxito que no se entendería sin quienes trataron de hacerlo posible hace más de un siglo (1/7).

#SusanBAnthony is important connection to my alma mata @UofR. She helped ensure women students attended. I've visited her grave numerous times in historic Mt Hope cemetery to pay respect.
