The Ministry of Agriculture announced that typical infections of swine fever have been reported at a pig farm in Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture, northeastern Japan.
It was the first outbreak of classical swine fever on a pig farm in around three months after the disease was confirmed on Sept. 26 in Gunma Prefecture, eastern Japan.
The most recent cases have marked the spread of the disease to the pig farming sector in the northeastern Tohoku region. Virus tests were conducted after a report that the number of pigs with fever and dead pigs was growing at the farm,

Although the cost shock of this round of #swinefever isn’t minor, the international #oilprice is still moderate and its year-on-year growth rate continues to be negative.
