From the first time I read it, I always envisioned this story as a movie.

Dune part 2 is announced for October 2023, so at best Rama would be for 2026 (2025 would be lucky).
If it's the next Villeneuve movie.
But I can wait for Rama by a director as good as Denis Villeneuve.
