Quick trading #TAtip: FVGs

I think the value of identifying inefficiencies is a major key to success (whether you call them Fair value gap (FVG), inefficiency, imbalance, void, etc)

Here's a quick technique to use them in trading 👇
Step #1:

Identify the FVG. Can vary among different timeframes but stick to the timeframe you are trading on Image
Step #2:

Find the Order Block prior to the FVG & draw a parallel channel to identify this. Make sure Midpoint of channel is showing Image

* My learnings, threads and personal approach to crypto *

Going to stick this as my pinned tweet and leave anything I think is useful in a thread; particularly for new people who follow me.
This is me, what I do an how I approach the market.

Hello 👋

When I talk about "relative strength" or "spaghetti charts" this is what I mean and how I use it; particularly on low timeframes scalping.

Three Drives

•Most of us expect trends to end in some epic buying/selling climax (i.e. Parabolic blow off) However, this isn't always the case.
•There are other types of climaxes and one of the more commons ones is the three drives pattern.
Concept:

The market has been making new highs at a somewhat steady pace before suddenly rapidly picking up pace. New highs begin forming after small retraces. These frequent drives to new highs suggest franctiness amongst buyers. Eventually, the built-up pressure is released.
Use:

Spotting a three drive pattern doesn't necessarily warrant a counter-trend position. However, with trend traders should take profit or move up stops to protect against a potential reversal. Can be used as a factor of confluence.

How to follow momentum using the MACD. This is a cool concept that I've used to catch monster moves. This is especially helpful if you missed a major move and you're looking to get on-board with confidence.
