The Anderson Whitby Ontario event began with a video (produced by whom? Paid for by?) where far right Canadian “convoy” figures, including #TamaraLich, said words of welcome to Anderson. Then, in true fascist propaganda fashion inverting truth, they played the national anthem.

As we wait, I'll go over some of the big-picture points from last week. Lich, through her lawyer, claimed she had concerns that the original bail hearing was bias due to Justice Bourgeois' former position as a Liberal Party candidate. Bourgeois also received praise from Trudeau.
Given that one of the major targets of the convoy protest was the Liberal party and Trudeau specifically, Lich & Magas claimed this raised a reasonable apprehension of bias. Moiz Karimjee countered that Bourgeois' granting of bail to Chris Barber disproved bias.

Publication ban is reiterated. Counsel for the defence raised how it had been breached previously. Judge says he doesn’t refer to the “proposed surety” by name. Not a good sign that he said that.

Lich was denied bail last week after she was deemed likely to reoffend. That's now being challenged today (reasonable bail is, after all, a charter right).

As I further examine the #TruckersForFreedom #TruckerConvoy2022 grift & op, here’s my guess on what’s happening (I hope someone does an analysis with software I don’t possess @DFRLab). I suspect the “donations” are being laundered through a troll farm. Along w/ fake account posts
Ms Lich keeps increasing the goal amount as “donations” come in every minute or every few minutes. Fake donations laundered through a troll farm type apparatus wld be in small amounts done more frequently in order to appear authentic, in addition to real donations by the gullible
But that’s not all. There is coordinated messaging across #Conservative propaganda media. Disinformation 101. Make a lie displace truth. RW disinformation posing as “news” has been steadily promoting this op & pumping out a false narrative (& asking for $$ 🙄) #TruckersForFreedom
