Just to remind @CAF_Online: On 17th July 2019, at the @CairoMarriott, the exco took a decision, in writing, that the single-game #CAFCL will be played at a NEUTRAL ground. It is in Point 4 of the minutes of that meeting, of which I have a copy and have read.

The relevant extract: “Moreover, drawing lessons from the problems encountered during [the] return match of the final of the [2019] Champions League and Confederation Cup, the executive committee decided THAT THE FINALS WILL BE PLAYED IN ONE MATCH AND ON NEUTRAL GROUND.”
#Ahlawy @AlAhly @AlAhlyEnglish fans - I try to stand for what is right in African football. When the problem was between @WACofficiel v #Taraji @ESTunis1919 @EsperanceSTunis in 2019, I made my professional views clear, because the dignity of African football was at stake.
Many fans of @WACofficiel have disliked me intensely since 2019, because of the positions I took. Some even went as far as racially abusing me. But despite that, I have nothing but respect for the country of #Morocco and its people.
I was a guest of the @FRMFOFFICIEL in 2020. I spent time with the federation president and the @WACofficiel President. They were excellent hosts. But we had robust conversations concerning #Morocco’s controversial influence and behaviour in CAF. insideworldfootball.com/2020/02/04/int…
