In 2017, Texans rejected the so-called #TxLege "bathroom bill." That didn't stop lawmakers from spending four sessions last year bullying our trans students + apparently isn't stopping Grapevine-Colleyville ISD from attempting to implement their own discriminatory policy (CLA).
ACTION ALERT š£ On August 1st, the SBOE will be holding their first public hearing on the proposed revisions for the social studies curriculum for K-12. It's critically important that Texans like you testify. Hereās what you need to know ā¬ļø
The social studies curriculum has not undergone major revisions since 2010, we need to ensure the revisions this term accurately represent Texas history and our communities.
Testimony at the SBOE will ONLY be open to in-person testimony, registration to sign-up for testimony will open at 8 am on Thursday, July 28, and ends on Friday, July 29 at 5 pm.
