1/10 Fantastic and inspirational visit to @NewcastleHosps yesterday with Ella Fuller and Kacey Cogle from the @NHSProviders policy team. Great to see fellow NHS Assembly member @JackieDanielNHS thriving and flourishing. 
2/10 Very struck by the positive and optimistic outlook of the @NewcastleHosps senior leadership team on my visit yesterday. Recognising the pressures & challenges but also determined to take advantage of some fantastic opportunities, for example leading edge biomedical research.
3/10 Great to visit @NewcastleHosps emergency department yesterday. Rightly proud of performance over busy winter period. Particularly admired clear acknowledgment of status as Regional Trauma Centre & need to stay open to help others in region when they’re overwhelmed. #TeamNE
