Now let's discuss R-27R which many Bangladeshi "Defense Analyst" claim that it's Beyond visual range. Though catagorically it is a Beyond Visual Range Missile, but being a semi active radar homing missile (Fox-1) it's very obsolete in comparison with modern day Beyond Visual 2/N
Range Missile (BVRM) which are active radar homing (Fox-3).
Reasons are as follows
¶ R-27R is semi-acitve radar homing missile which means that pilot has to keep the target locked & has to guide the missile till impact. Its maximum range is 73Km & certainly not 80-100km. 3/N

a). Iran has around USD 700-800 million worth of illegal trade from Pakistan's Baluchistan. Since Pakistan has decided to fence Baluchistan border Iran is worried about its illegal trade.

b). Since India has invested heavily in Iran's "Chabahar Port". Iran doesn't want Gawadar Port to get fully operational hence its damaging CPEC & Baluchistan by supporting BLA.
