1) Every individual wants the absolute 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 to trade in today's market.

But who's doing it best?

Who offers the lowest fees, highest security and largest cross-chain support?

Here's a 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 of the most popular cross-chain bridges 🧵 👇 Image
2) In today's market there's an abundance of different blockchain protocols.

The main issue we have is that these blockchains natively can't communicate with each other.

This makes it difficult to move assets from $ETH to $DOT for example.

Hence cross-chain bridging was born.
3) Bridges allow for data sharing between blockchains that previously had no connection.

They are the base-layer infrastructure that connects different blockchain ecosystems.

Not all cross-chain bridges introduced today are perfect though.

This Multi-Chain, micro-cap #DEX will kill and replace every #CEX.

Let me introduce, @THORSwap.

2- If you haven't already heard of #Thorchain $RUNE, they are the incredible multi-chain #blockchain that depletes the need of using Centralised Exchanges (#CEX) & other Third-Parties that aren't entirely necessary.
3- #Thorswap is their very own multi-chain Decentralised Exchange (#DEX) that utilises the power of their #blockchain, @Thorchain which supports a variety of major blockchains and #cryptocurrencies.

1) Since the fall of many notable exchanges a lot of users are asking themselves:

• Should I use a #DEX?

• Which ones should I use?

🧵👇
2) “Not your keys, not your crypto”

FTX’s collapse is a symptom of a problem inherent to ALL centralized exchanges, also known as custodial exchanges.

Customers tokens parked on the platform are exposed to the risk the exchange could go bust.
3) Many #CEX customers have lost faith and are now rushing to withdraw their funds, opting for non-custodial solutions instead.

This is where #DEXs come in.

What The F* is This Thorchain Friendly Fork?

Thorchads, yesterday Part 1 of @MayaProtocolEng Whitepaper was unveiled in Discord discord.gg/TU7DR99cv2

As a @THORChain investor, Node op, or LPer, the news of a #THORChain fork might still catch you off-guard.
(1/🧵)
You will, rightly so, wonder how could this affect a protocol you have a vested interest into.

With this 🧵 I sum up Why #Maya is a friendly fork of #THORChain, and how its success will ultimately benefit @THORChain protocol, its security, its UX, and its userbase.

@THORChain is the perfect DEX for #BTC

For a long time #BTC maxis were excluded from the world of DeFi because of the lack of support on DEXs, and a lack of protocols supporting Bitcoin.

#THORChain offers a lot for Bitcoin holders.

A thread 🧵👇
2. Up until recently DEX’s have not supported Bitcoin. For a long time it wasn’t possible real bitcoin (or other top native chain assets) at scale in a decentralized way. Even now, most DEXs only support ERC-20 tokens.
3. THORChain pioneered the idea of cross chain DEXs. Now there’s Atlas, Synapse and others, but THORChain was one of the first.

Are you trying to understand #THORChain? ⛓️

Here's what I learned about THORChain and the best resources I've found to read more about it. 🚀

A thread 🧵👇
@THORChain is a decentralized cross-chain automated market maker (AMM) that allows users to trade spot Tokens across blockchains.

It allows users to trade in the native asset, not a synthetic wrapped version like #wBTC.
Trading over centralized exchanges presents risk through:

⚈ counterparty risk
⚈ the time that it takes to send assets to #CEX and withdraw again
⚈ forced seizure of assets through regulators or governments
⚈ hacks

Here are the most important things you should know about THORChain, the ultimate multi-chain DEX.

A thread 🧵👇
1. #THORChain is an Immutable, Cross-chain DEX. It’s like a multi-chain version of Uniswap. There are no custodians, and these trades are accomplished without wrapping.
2. It hasn’t been possible to trade real #bitcoin at scale in a decentralized way. THORChain is the first to direct t Suddenly it’s possible to trade #Bitcoin for #ETH in a decentralized manner.

@Ronin_Network is now on the top of crypto hack leaderboard at 625M. The new emerging narrative is bridges but it will take some time and pain until we get it right. Let's look at bridge tech and different designs. MEGA THREAD! 🧵👇

$ETH $SOL $AVAX $DOT $LINK $STG
1/Blockchain bridges work just as bridges in a physical world just instead of connecting two physical locations they connect two blockchains. Bridges facilitate communication between blockchains through the transfer of information and assets.
2/Interoperability drives innovation. More specifically:
- Greater productivity and utility for existing cryptoassets
- Greater product capabilities for existing protocols
- Unlocking new features and use cases for users and developers

Here are the top 10 things you need to know about #THORChain

I recently wrote a long 101 on #THORChain & $RUNE. Here is the TL/DR

A thread 🧵👇
1. The crypto world is becoming multi chain, but multi chain infrastructure is still lacking. This will be key in the coming months/years

2. THORchain is a cross chain AMM. It wants to be the chain exchange that bridges the gaps in the multi chain, immutable world.
3. Devs can choose the chain of their choice and use #THORChain to fuel liquidity from popular chains like ETH

4. THORChain supports native tokens across many chains & fulfills the role of a decentralized exchange

If you are unfamiliar with "Liquidity Pools".

Liquidity providers lock two assets in a pool

Traders who want to swap the assets pay a small fee to the providers, and assets are swapped.

An article here by @binance going into more depth:

academy.binance.com/en/articles/wh…
The core of #Thorchain protocol is built from Tendermint and Cosmos SDK

This allowed Thorchain to create its own blockchain with its own consensus and network layer without having to build it from scratch.
Tendermint allows Thorchain to reach consensus even if 1/3 of all the nodes start to fail.

Thorchain nodes need to work together to record transactions coming from blockchains.

Nodes that want to verify transactions operate under Proof-of-Stake concepts, staking $RUNE tokens.

MEGA Thread #Thorchain: Fundamental and DeFi plays.

The decentralized & autonomous cross chain liquidity network set to 🚀 this year.

A thread 🧵👇
A Quick Overview on $RUNE history if you're unfamiliar.

• Started as a small project at the Binance hackathon in 2018

• Waited a period of time for the technology to be built to create a fully functioning cross chain.

• Raised a small seed round of just over $2M by 2019.
It is likely we will live in a multi chain world.

Swapping assets between different blockchains, otherwise known as "cross chain" is the key focus for $RUNE.

$wBTC, $renBTC, $tBTC, $sBTC --faces tradeoffs in the custody and security aspects.

$BTC holders seeing the benefits of the decentralized stable coin $UST

But what about the potential for BTC on Terra's ecosystem? Could it gain value, like $LUNA?

A 🧵on

- an opportunity met by a problem
- how it gets solved to unlock value
- how this can happen for BTC too
1.
As a place to start, when $UST is created, an equal value of $LUNA is burned. So when LUNA was $1, it was a 1:1 burn.

But the # of LUNA is capped, so if UST demand picks up, LUNA's value goes up as it gets more scarce.

It just passed 25% of the total supply burned. Not bad.
2.
Knowing how BTC's scarcity gives it strength, you can see why #LUNAtics celebrate $UST adoption. It floors LUNA's price due to amazing deflationary tokenomics.

That's not the end of it, though.

Building a strong ecosystem around UST gives additional use cases/value to LUNA.

1/ Hey THORChads and crypto fanatics, the draft of #THORFi was recently released by @THORChain $RUNE. I will attempt to sum up THORFi as best as I can and give my thoughts about this exciting initiative.

TLDR will be listed at tweet 34.
2/ to know what is #THORFi, one must understand what is #THORChain (skip to /5 if you already know).

Well, THORChain is a decentralised ecosystem that allows the exchange of native assets across different chains.
3/ When you swap one token from a specific chain to another token from another chain, you receive the native asset and not a wrapped version (such as $wETH for $ETH).

This removes the step of converting the wrapped asset back to the native asset and also ensures no depeg risk.

25/ How a bank run can occurs (correct me if I am wrong) when the price of $RUNE falls greatly, THOR.USD holders may be afraid of depeg risk and hence redeem RUNE with THOR.USD, the dilution of RUNE’s supply will hence lead to a further price drop which causes a death spiral.
26/ As stated before, RUNE-USD pool guarantees that THOR.USD is the most attractive stablecoin to use due to it having the most liquidity.

Also, as THOR.USD is used to buy up $RUNE as it dips to maintain the liquidity, the risk of a death spiral is mitigated.
27/ Another thing to take note of is that when loaning THOR.USD, one is essentially short USD and long crypto. Loaning THOR.USD would make sense if you were afraid of a depeg.

If THOR.USD goes to 0, you would have gained free money if you converted it into other assets.

#THORFi is coming ⚡️

Here's your breakdown of lending, borrowing & saving on THORFi.

A thread🧵👇
2. Lending.
Users can borrow in THOR.USD by depositing collateral.

Collateral is in LP units of the primary asset of any chain. In other words, it will be in the units of ETH not ERC20s.

This makes the pools deeper and drives $RUNE price up.
3. Borrowers pay 0% interest. This is BIG. The way this works is, borrowers forego yield on their collateral and all loans must be open for a minimum of 100 days.

Here's your breakdown of THOR.USD, #THORChain's algorithmic stablecoin.

A thread🧵👇
2. THOR.USD is an algorithmic stablecoin pegged to USD.

Here's a quick explanation on the different types of stablecoins:
3. $RUNE is burnt to mint THOR.USD and THOR.USD is burned to redeem $RUNE.

A fee is paid to mint or redeem to prevent attacks.

I didnt add an example to show the power of @THORSwap and the $rune asset and how the yields are dynamic to how the protocol functions. so here is some napkin math.....
2/ example:
lets say rune is 1$ and the MC is 1,000,000$ just for this example)
Now the yield for the $BTC pool is paying 20%.

lets say a user deposits $1,000,000 of btc......that would go to 10% because the TVL doubled. wouldnt it?
3/ No, remember the formula every 1$ deposited=$3 on rune MC

so if this is the case then the rune price would go to $4 because the MC got juiced to 4,000,000$......

so since the Apy is based in rune the new apy instead of 20% would be 80% / 2 because higher TVL

so =40% APY
Read 7 tweets
Are these yields on @THORSwap sustainable?
2/ Well lets get into the data on how the yield is generated.

Just like all yield farms a certain number of tokens are allocated to a given pool regardless of price, so the more people that deposit they less tokens you get.... so the lower the apy? right?
3/ yes and no
*remember apys are based in rune price
so 10$ rune price paying 10% apy
will pay around 20% apy if rune price goes to 20$

......wait why does the rune price have to go up???

1/ If you want to participate in $brokkr IDO at 30.-31.3, there are several ways to do so 🧵👇

#brokkr #thorchain $luna $rune #IDO #thorstarter #lunabulls #thorguards
brokkrfinance.medium.com/guide-to-brokk…
2/ First is by holding a special NFT in your wallet. $brokkr will give them away during March to the community through special activities. To participate, just join their Discord here: discord.gg/CDNKYTDqTE
alloc. size will be $1500! 🤩
3/ Second you can get an airdrop by holding #lunabulls. Allocation size will be around 100$ per LB you hold (just a rough guess though). If you hold several your alloc raises in a non-linear degressive way.

Why does @THORSwap have the ultimate defi yield for stables.......

it has to do with tranches
2/ Let me explain:
You have probably heard of this thing called $rune (if you haven't her chart is like shoes that fit on your feet)

translation: nuts and ham

2nd translation: GOOD like REALLY GOOD Image
3/so with tranches say you want to invest 10,000$
what you would do is split it up 50/50 or 60/40 with the equal or lesser going to the more risky strat (in this case the lesser is 40 😉 )

just for example purposes we will do 50/50
so 5k thorswap
and 5k anchor

1/ x Did some math here for the BROKKR airdrop for LUNABULLS holders: 1.25% of total supply (1'000'000'000) will be airdropped, which is 12.5 Million BROKKR for 10k LB holders, which is 1250 BROKKR. #lunabulls $brokkr @LunaBulls #NFTs
But it will be more since not everybody will claim and it will be distributed to the ones which claimed on 2nd airdrop later AND if you have 3 LB you get less than x3 the amount of BROKKR (degressive), so with 5K LB holders, let's say you get 2000 BROKKR per LB.
Price of BROKKR at IDO will be 0.05$, so allocation will be 100$ per LB. Initial supply will be 100mio (of the 1000mio total supply) which would make a 5Mio$ Marketcap at a price of 0.05$ per BROKKR. So a x10 should be doable (50mio MC) -> 1000$ airdrop worth per LB!!

THORChain $RUNE Overview:
$RUNE is a DEX protocol that enables native token swaps across blockchains. This was previously only possible with CEX's. This is big news and could disrupt the business of CEX's!

🧵...
#THORChain $RUNE @NicolasFlamelX @THORmaximalist @TheRuneRanger Image
1/ Benefits:
-Removes necessity & risk of wrapped/synthetic assets
-Removes bridging and its pain points
-Enables direct native token swaps
-Decentralization & immutability
-Custody
Digital assets at its core is decentralization. Removing CEX's brings power & meaning back to DeFi
2/ THORChain $RUNE enables direct native token swaps through Bifrost protocol that acts as the connecting layer between THORChain $RUNE and each of the supported blockchains.

Transactions begin on the inbound vault on Chain A, which is then acknowledged by Bifrost...
