Today I am going to tell you a story about how I almost got burnt by the community of Ezakheni, Ladysmith. I will not tell you which section of the Ezakheni Township this took place in, for the protection of my parents who still reside there. 
There is one thing that I am going to be completely truthful about though… and that is how it all started.
To see them dancing in their snow white and black patterned regalia, waving their red-clay-smeared-arms in the air while chanting songs that I had no doubt carried the very essence of what it meant to be African.
This was always an introduction to all the untold stories of my special kind of dreams. I would see them either around a blazing red ball of fire or on top of a green mountain, encircled by bushes of long brown hay beneath it.
And just like that, she was left with a cold heart on the shiny-spotless red concrete floor to which her in-laws were meant to see their pessimistic reflections on. Her enduring fight for the privilege of being a Mrs, was deemed a futile act.
They rushed to the sight of her frigid body and attempted to resurrect her as though they really wanted her to wake up...heaven knows that their little atrocious hearts chanted DEATH upon her, even when she was already gone.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t shaking as I am writing this. In fact, my hands are trembling so bad that I’m not even sure I’ll manage to finish telling this story to you
Okay... maybe I should first tell you a little bit about myself and where I’m from, just so you have a little bit of context as to why such a creature would pay a visit to me.
I know that y’all have heard about how SOME sangomas are drop dead corrupt in everyway possible. So, I’m going to share a story about how my cousin underwent intwaso even though she had no ancestral calling.

It didn’t come as a surprise when we got a call from my cousin saying that she had enrolled into ephehlweni to undergo sangoma training. You see, it is an open secrete that almost everyone in my family has some kind of a spiritual gift.
And no, being spiritually gifted doesn’t mean that one has to be a sangoma in a sense of working with herbs and divinations. Healing can be done in many ways. Some people heal through music and dance, some through prayer and prophecies, and some through storytelling...

I am not writing this so I can be judged. I am writing this so I can share my personal experience with how easily a marriage can be broken. I can’t say I’m not proud of what I did,because I am. In fact, the fact that they still hate each other’s guts till today,makes it worth it.
Okay, before I tell you about how my stupid brother got married to the woman who was no stranger to my crooked, yet faithful heart, I think you will better understand why I did it if I properly told you about my upbringing.
This story takes place in a very unusual place for scary things to take place in. It’s in the CBD of Johannesburg . In an apartment, a very fancy one too. The person whom the story is about, was a man who had an ordinary job as an accountant at one of the South African banks.
He was an average man who lived an average life. He was in a stable relationship, took care of his family, drove a white polo, paid some of his bills but was also in a lot of debt. The loan to build his parent’s house back in KZN took a larger portion of his income every month.
Spiritual gurus say everyone has a third eye and that this eye gives us the ability to see into the unknown, to hear in complete silence, and to feel auras & entities unseen. Many of us are unaware of this, but for some, it is a burden instead of a gift.

Some people are born with their third eye wide open, these individuals tend to choose paths that allow them to harness this gift for divinations, energy healings & channeling the passed on.This phenomenon is found in all religions but labeled differently meaning; soul awakening.

From a biblical point of view, almost everyone is possessed😂 don't fight me. Let me finish..A person who lies too much is said to be possessed by the spirit of deception,while those who are sexually active are possessed by a spirit of lust,those who hate have a spirit of hatred.
If you eat too much you have a spirit of gluttony, if you're a jealous person then you my dear,have the spirit of greed & enviousness. The main point here is that every bad thing you do is attributed to the demon/spirit that's possessing you. Hard to take in hey? I can imagine.
There is one thing you're ought to learn from folklores, especially the most local ones because they are all true. Believe me, I know. Dare to turn a blind eye on them & they will unfold right in front of you.

Inkosazane yezintaba. Goddess of the mountains they call her. In Zulu tradition, she is said to be in the deepest of caves & mountains. It is also believed that she is the one who unveils the earth so that water may spring up. You believe in her? Well... Sfiso met her.
He received a call telling him he had received a job as a miner at a coal mining company in KZN.I won't mention the name of the mine for obvious reasons. As expected, he was beyond ecstatic! Unemployment for 4 years broke his family apart.Having two wives is no child's play!
The Phrase "an eye for an eye" wasn't invented to not be used. Even at this day an age, there are people who very much believe and use this phrase to do exactly what it says... An eye, for an eye.

We've seen so many fiction movies and documentaries that at the end of the day have one common message. That the devil doesn't exist. Now think of it this way..if the devil doesn't exist, does God exist ? MAYBE this is why more people are becoming atheist.. Not that I'm judging.
Everyone has a right to believe in whatever they want vele. My friend's roommate was one of those that don't believe in the supernatural and God.The world was a live-and-die process for her.That soon changed when she was sucked in what she thought can be explained psychologically
