2/ Bitcoin is an amazing innovation with global potential - I'm incredibly bullish. If it disrupts all money in the world, it would displace a $90 Trillion market. This includes all coins, banknotes, money market accounts, & savings, checking, and time deposit accounts globally.
3/ Bitcoin isn't just money though. It can also be used as a store of value (Gold or Silver). Gold is ~$10 trillion globally and Silver is ~$17 Billion.

2/ @JWilliamsFstmed and I made a decision 18 months ago to refrain from investing in any ICOs due to regulatory concerns. This was a highly unpopular decision at the time, including numerous peers questioning our judgement.
3/ Yesterday, our concerns were validated. SEC Chairman Clayton stated most ICOs are securities and the SEC will not change the rules to address this funding mechanism.
In essence, the investors who participated previously are likely to have invested in unregistered securities.
