About time I put my mouth where my interests are.

I have a trans family member and I couldn’t be prouder of them.

Like every trans person they have experienced terrifying bullying and rejection - and they are only 16.

Transphobia - in the name of whatever ridiculous excuse its proponents advance - is utterly repellent to me.

That so many of its proponents feel they are being “cancelled” for their odious attempts to deny the personal reality of their fellow human beings is astonishing.
If you were openly racist or homophobic and your employer sacked you - or your publisher dumped you - nobody would come to your defence.

Should be the same for transphobia.
