Molto spesso sentiamo parlare del concetto di neutralità della rete #NetNeutrality ovvero obbligare i fornitori di connettività a garantire senza limitazioni di accesso e velocità a qualsiasi servizio o piattaforma internet e/o senza avantaggiare un fornitore rispetto ad un altro
Cosa c'entro questo con i social?
Mi sono chiesto tante volte se i social con le loro piattaforme dovessero anch'essi garantire una sorta di neutralità dei contenuti e far circolare liberamente il "pensiero" degli utenti.

Many seem to think so. But I just read through his speech and can’t, for the life of me, rationally come to that conclusion.

Trump is not a great communicator. But like many politicians, he urges his supporters to ‘fight’ for their side. This is, clearly, not talking about physical violence.
He is clearly talking about being strong, about standing up for one’s convictions.

Through his entire speech, he is drawing a contrast between ‘weak’ Republicans, and the ‘strong’ ones who are fighting. He wants to vilify those who are against him and extol those who are still with him.

Nous avons eu la naïveté de croire que les réseaux sociaux, Facebook et Twitter en tête, concrétisaient enfin la promesse des débuts du net : créer le « village mondial » et offrir un espace de communication libre et neutre.
Pour les annonceurs, les RS permettaient de créer une relation directe avec les clients et prospects, le fameux « dialogue de communication » dont nous parlions à longueur d’after-works entre geeks de moins de 25 ans.

2. Censors and supporters assume that they will always be in power and control, which is a very naive assumption. As soon as they lose power, they find themselves on same the avalanche they create.
If you can't imagine or tolerate the other side being a censor you should not support censorship.

1) While I have extremely little respect for Trump's intellect, character or literary prowess, it actually annoys me that he's been blocked from what is effectively a near-universal national US "communication utility" (Twitter). #TrumpBanned
2) It is just quite suboptimal to have centralized organizations of any kind control the flow of communication and information. If Twitter were replaced with a well-designed decentralized network, then one wouldn't need fractionation into Twitter, Parler and whatever-else ..
3) ... one could have dynamically emergent and self-organizing subnetworks of the overall network, allowing people to get the communications they want labeled/analyzed in the ways they want ...

Ok, da ist aktuell einiges im Gange. Nachdem Twitter Donald #Trump dauerhaft gesperrt hat, ist dieser wohl auf den bei Rechten beliebten Twitter-Abklatsch #Parler ausgewichen. Daraufhin hat #Google die Parler-App aus dem Playstore gelöscht.

#Apple droht #Parler nun genau dasselbe an, sollten sie nicht innerhalb von 24 Stunden eine Moderation der Inhalte einführen. Unter rechtsextremen Hetzern wie Martin #Sellner greift langsam Panik um sich. Sollte auch #Telegram aus den Stores gecancelt...
...werden, wäre das der endgültige Untergang dieser Leute in die völlige digitale Bedeutungslosigkeit.
