But then 2022 hit and Big Tech had its worst decline since 2008.
And in January 2023, with CEOs seeking to protect their stock prices, companies like:

...all announced deep cuts to employees.

3/ And individual-level poverty alone is associated with an estimated 130,000 deaths per year in the U.S. More job and income loss and worsening poverty will lead to loss of health insurance and contribute to worsening mortality in the short and long term

Yes, it’s true that meatpackers like @TysonFoods are intensely disrupted by Covid-19. Social distancing is tough in these facilities, and some plants have closed temporarily due to outbreaks.
