I try to keep an eye on the #UWG hashtag to help those who need access to university services.
First, we need to do more. They shouldn’t have to ask the Twitterverse, they should be able to trust getting help directly and quickly. And it should be clear who to ask for what. 1/n

Secondly, this type of #UWG student service should happen when students are awake, which isn’t 8-5. We know this. 😂
The helpfulness can’t have “business hours” or the business should adjust their hours to meet these needs.

My husband calls me an unofficial #UWG concierge desk who just randomly answers whatever questions are put in front of me at any time of day.
Students need this. We can’t tell them to “adult” if we aren’t ready to serve their needs. I’m an adult & I still have questions 3/n

UWG officially announced their Student Refund Plan with guidance from their governing system (USG BOR) so you’ll see similarities across all 26 institutions. 1/n

Partial refunds for #UWG housing and dining services is for those who have moved out as planned from the dorms.

FYI according to the #UWG linked page the housing refunds will be prorated using March 16th as the last date of service. Which I think is pretty nice considering folks moved out this week. 3/n
