NEW from me @TheSpectator:

Come with me on a trip to the @PaulVallas election night party for some glimpses of what could have been in Chicago

Instead, @CTULocal1 now runs the show 😬

From top to bottom, the @CTULocal1 — one of the shadiest unions in America — now runs the Windy City

@Brandon4Chicago will succeed scandal-plagued Mayor @LoriLightfoot and hand his former colleagues in CTU the keys to the city. Johnson made hundreds of thousands of dollars as a… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
When all is said and done, @Brandon4Chicago will have defeated his fellow Democrat @PaulVallas in the runoff by about 4%.

In contrast with Johnson’s platitude-heavy offering, Vallas ran a campaign laser-focused on crime, pledging to boost the city’s police force numbers at a… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

New from me @TheSpectator:

Newly-Independent #AZSEN @kyrstensinema's use of @actblue directly violates the platform's policy that it is ONLY for Democrats

It's huge trouble for Independent Sens. @BernieSanders and @AngusforMaine #VTSEN #MESEN

Let's be clear from the onset:

@ActBlue is ONLY for Democrats...as it makes clear on its own website.

@kyrstensinema, @BernieSanders, and @AngusforMaine are NOT Democrats #azsen #vtsen #mesen

If you're even passingly familiar with my reporting, you'll know that I've covered @ActBlue's whimsical and nonsensical policies for years

We talked about @kyrstensinema specifically on @newsmax last week with @JohnFBachman and @BiancaDLGarza

After a solid string of predictions, we did take a couple Ls @SplitTicket_ tonight by missing the #VTSen (Likely Nolan) and #CTSen (Lean Klarides) GOP primary calls. Sorry, guys -- low-salience primaries with limited polling are just hard to predict. I'll do better for next time.
@SplitTicket_ For Vermont, my internal logic was that the Scott and McConnell endorsements indicated serious establishment backing for Nolan, which I thought would carry her over the line in a state GOP that was probably more moderate than most. Can't say I saw that loss coming.
For Connecticut, I thought Klarides was only slightly favored and stressed that a Levy win wouldn't be a shock at all because she was endorsed by Trump a week ago -- I felt, however, that Klarides had enough cash and name ID to carry her and that Trump's endorsement was late.
