Jasia was an athlete from the childhood. Initially, she played kabaddi and other sports before being introduced to cricket by an athletic coach. But seeing the condition of women’s cricket in J&K, she decided to shift to Punjab. But it wasn’t easy. ⤵️
She struggled her way through to make it to Punjab team. Couldn’t do much initially but some help and motivation from the current Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur changed her life.

“If I would want anyone to bat for my life, it has to be Harman." She told in an interview in 2019.
