The woman that was my daughter’s Guide leader attended last night’s #WPUKLeeds19. I asked her about the safeguarding challenges of accommodating intact males in sleeping accommodations with my daughter or other girls
She told me that she had “trans friends, who would be on the floor, crying, if they heard what I was saying”.
That’s not safeguarding my daughter, or other girls. That’s protecting the feelings of unrelated adults.
