Not all women are white women.
I founded @techseowomen 2.5 years ago and one thing I've struggled with over time is ensuring it doesn't run into a community primarily for white women.
Here are some things I do to ensure that doesn't happen 🧵
1) I never run an event or an event cohort that only features white women. In fact, the upcoming #WTSFest features 50% women of colour.

2) I never share a #WTSNewsletter edition that only features white women's content. I put the effort to go through feeds by women of colour and collate their brilliant pieces.

💡How to identify trustworthy information💡
At the beginning of an SEO career, it can be difficult to recognise trustworthy information.
How do you discern which articles are accessible vs an article that is overly simplified?
Finding trustworthy information. A thread🧵
As an SEO specialist, even a beginner, it is our duty to use accurate and correct information.
Explaining complex information in a way that is easy to understand to beginners differs from simplifying complex information such as avoiding part of the concepts.
For basic information about how Google works, rely on information provided by Google ➡️ Anything in developers.google.com/search/ is generally trustworthy.
Bonus: it is available in 19 languages
