Considering the prevailing situation caused by the COVID pandemic, convening a session from June 22 is difficult. It has been unanimously decided to hold the convention from August 3.

CM Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray has announced a substantial hike in the honorarium of doctors serving their bonds to bring it at par with doctors working on contract basis. This will further strengthen their resolve in this #WarAgainstVirus
Henceforth, doctors serving their bonds in tribals areas will get ₹75,000 instead of ₹60,000.
Specialist doctors working in tribal areas will be paid ₹85,000 from the previous ₹70,000.

For the past few months, the State Government has been fighting a #WarAgainstVirus and so far, has managed to contain it's spread through various measures.
The number of tests is being significantly increased, and hence, the patient count is rising. The numbers of patients being cured and discharged has also increased.
As a part of planning, the State Government has requested hospitals, institutions & buildings under the management of the Railways, Mumbai Port Trust, Indian Army, Navy and other Central Gov. undertakings to make their facilities available across Maharashtra.
