We speak many different European languages, of which I speak only two (English & German). For centuries this divided those of us who didn't speak the lingua franca, which was first Latin, then French & now English, which suits me, but it is also the language of globalisation.
I understand & speak German, but am very slow at reading & writing it, which is why I tweet almost exclusively in English, which is my native tongue.

Why does #BigBrother British state want to miscegenate us all? Just as it once did Native Americans & Aboriginal Australians, before it became clear that this was a form of genocide & it was forbidden by international law.
The reason is ideological & power-political, going to the opposite but equally insane extremes of Nazi ideology of racial purity & superiority, & now called "anti-racism", which BB embraced as a means of claiming a spurious moral authority for himself & his minions.
