In Wandsworth there are over 2,500 statutory homeless families in temporary accommodation (up from 400 in 2010), with roughly 3,300 children (3,000 last year). About 800 families are out of the borough, mostly in B&Bs.

2/5 As Covid has taken hold, rough sleeping in Wandsworth went up by over 400%. Most were housed in hotels, now those must be permanently housed and help given to maintain their tenancies. Many have “No recourse to public funds,” they must continue to be treated equally.
