Comemos mucho más que antes: desde 1975, en Europa la prevalencia de Obesidad era bastante menor que en la actualidad.
Curiosamente, aún oímos decir a abuelas y abuelos que "si el niño está gordito, es porque tiene buena salud", y claro: nuestros padres pasaron hambres.
Otra cosa interesante es el factor Bulos y el elemento "culpabilidad".
Es cierto que existe herencia genética de Obesidad, pero eso no puede dar la razón a quien piensa "he nacido así".
No. Porque hay quienes han combatido, y muy bien, contra ese sobrepeso.

its #WorldObesityDay so i gotta say a few things (1/7)
1) stfu with unsolicited health advice. especially if you dont say the same to any skinny person having a cig with their burger and coke or w/e. people arent dumb and know their own bodies and wellbeing better than a stranger
2) dont comment on weight, period. dont compliment people for losing weight when you first see them: it could be an eating disorder, they might be ill or stressed, you dont know their life. the same for the other way around: it could be many things & none your business regardless
3) society treats fat people like shit. in a superficial society obsessed with controlling people for max desirability, pretty much everything except unattainable perfection gets you treated poorly but. levels. you dont need to put fat folks down cos society is shitty to you too.
