1. Primal Reflex: This is evolutionary, a result of mostly homogenous groups living and evolving together, where a heterogenous encounter almost always resulted in conflict. Fortunately, humans have evolved faster to overcome this reflex.
For example, trade flourished between heterogenous groups after the world population had exceeded a threshold and there was surplus production (both due to agriculture).

As the #pandemic crisis takes its toll, the stateless are among those paying the highest of prices. Many face increased #racism and #xenophobia and are denied access to critical health services and information (in a language they understand) on prevention and treatment.

Sentiments aside, we all must begin to take responsibility. Stop offering yourself as a chattel to people seeking whom to sell. The grass is not greener anywhere. Even during the slave trade days we forget it was a transaction & our fathers got something back in exchange.
