When you see a TV ad for a California proposition, it almost doesn't matter what it says. Odds are it was placed by corporations looking to increase or defend their profits, and you should probably vote the other way. Not always, but generally companies have way more $$ for TV.
An exception this election cycle is #YesOnProp25. I've seen a fair number of TV ads making a solid case for upholding #SB10, which ended money bail in California. While SB10 is not perfect and needs racial bias fixes, fuck the American Bail Coalition trying to bring it down.
The American Bail Coalition is running a TV ad that says "the NAACP is asking you to vote no on proposition 25." It also claims #Prop25 "delays justice for people stuck in jail." How ironic. So misleading. What is the NAACP thinking?
