During the festival of Chanukah, we remember the Jewish people’s fight for liberation from oppression. We fought for our freedom and miraculously we won. Chanukah is the time we celebrate and commemorate that victory by lighting Chanukah candles for 8 nights.

Zioness stands in solidarity with DACA Recipients and #homeishere. On Tuesday, November 12th we will be joining protests in support of DACA as the Supreme Court weighs the future of hundreds of thousands of Americans.
As Jews, we are taught to welcome the stranger. As Zionists, we believe that every human being is entitled to human rights and dignity.
We will meet on the steps of the Folger Library at 9:30 am and walk to the protest together.
