Why Gandhi Parivaar MUST exit politics for India to thrive!

Its been 48 hours, & counting, since the
great grandson of a great Prime Minister,
grandson of a grand Prime Minister,
son of a youthful, but now deceased, Prime Minister &
son of a decade-long, de facto Prime Minster,
has been disqualified as a Member of Parliament. Till re-elections are held or his conviction overturned and his Membership status reinstated, the people of Wayanad remain unrepresented in India’s Parliament.

The good people of Wayanad may not notice a difference because

On all four counts, he is a laggard.

Requiem for the EVM

What is the position
of the opposition?
"It seems we have lost
But must at any cost
Find some justification

But what could it be
That would with authority
Scrub out our losses
yet please our bosses
And run off with impunity?"

#LokSabhaElections2019
Eureka one said
As he sprang out of bed
This idea's a gem
let's trash the EVM
And cast doubt on the EC instead

So off the cabal went
to make in democracy a dent
They drove in their fancy cars
But emerged in crushed kurtas
To make a straight tale bent

#LokSabhaElections2019
And of course the pliable
And the old reliable
Took their clarion call
From studio to town hall
To prove the EVMs were fallible

And here on twitter
The usual folk were aflutter
"Institutions compromised!"
"Idea of India revised!"
Dragging their souls through the gutter

The 2019 elections must have been one of the most rigorous as well as passionately fought elections in the history of India. I totally concur when PM @narendramodi says that it wasn't him but actually the people of India fought these elections. Every aware citizen contributed.
I have many personal anecdotes to share from last 2.5 months which prove that actually normal people took it on themselves to make sure that @narendramodi becomes PM again. They had no institutional support, no ad budgets, no marketing agencies but a passion to bring #NaMoAgain.
Many of my friends across India took several initiatives at their levels. People took half-days and leaves from their work, used to decide a place, congregate there & then campaign, distribute badges, pamphlets & urge people to vote for @narendramodi.
