JUST NOW: California Governor Gavin Newsom has just now signed into law bills to fight racial discrimination in courtrooms, especially to fight the systemic racism in jury selection.

These include #AB3070, on jury selection specifically, and #AB2542, the Racial Justice Act, which will enable people to better fight their sentences or convictions on the basis of racial discrimination.
