The disparity between how they treat Cinder and how they treated Adam (Literal plot device for Yang & Blake) couldn't be more apparent. Being that this was his send off season, why not show us Adam's final journey to reach Blake instead of Cinder's?

I will never understand why Crwby chose Cinder to be the one they treated with respect. The story that Adam centered around was one of discrimination, meant to mirror our world's. It's something you can understand and with some people, even relate to regardless of his character.
Now when it comes to Cinder what do we have? She's JUST as bad if not worse than Adam, and unlike him she has nothing you can latch on or relate to. It's been 7 years and by Miles's own words the most we know is that she wants to be "God-LvL Badass" in terms of physical power.
Honestly I personally feel like #Afterbuzz and their constant overzealous takes had an impact on how M&K wrote Adam later on. I can't help but laugh at the "learn how to deal with them." Great message to people who've been abused, just kill the abuser.👌 #rwby #adamtaurus
You can just see the wheels turning in M&K's heads when they called Adam Gaston.

So I was looking at this old Newsweek rwby interview again when I rediscovered that Miles said that Yang would *still* be struggling with her PTSD post Adam. Alright #crwby, we'll be expecting to see some lil hand shakes from her in V8. Don't let us down again like in V7. #rwby

Actually I can argue that Adam one-shotted Yang with just a basic slash. He glows when he uses his Semblance, yet sans the visual filter, neither him or his sword glows when he attacks her. M&K never wants to say that he used Moonslice either. #rwby #adamtaurus #YangXiaoLong
And while they nerfed him in V5-6, Robyn is pretty garbage at melee, and if she tried to just attack him from afar with projectiles he would just be able to easily absorb them. Robyn is fodder of fodder.

Cool, calculated and threatening, V3 Adam was someone who Cinder wanted on her team for his ability to lead others. He was the type of person to look into his ex's eyes and tell her that he's going to destroy everything she loves without so much as flinching.
Then we have V5 Adam, someone who is easily angered and loses hope at the slightest sign of resistance. Resorts to asking Hazel what next steps they should do when the going gets rough. No leadership qualities.
