After what felt like forever in my mid-20 something brain, I also got to work on my 1st first-author publication. Let me tell you. A) Past me was foolish. B) I cried, doubted myself and worked really hard on that article #AdrienTwitterTakeover

I also had a brief stint teaching. A few actually. Even though some days I don’t understand why, I felt pulled to create a life where I could design & lead studies, deepen my epi knowledge and teach. Next thing I knew, I was taking steps to apply to school #AdrienTwitterTakeover

Took a year off after undergrad. Then ended up @EmoryRollins where I was #GlEpi. After working @UCLAchpr (I learned a lot), I ended up @CDCgov because my team was looking for French speaking epidemiologists to support the EVD outbreak response in Guinea #AdrienTwitterTakeover
La France ayant colonisé un tiers du monde à un certain moment...I was able to leverage my language and epi skills from supporting the EVD outbreak to collaborating and learning from colleagues in Senegal, DRC, Côte D’Ivoire etc...to develop infection control and AMR programs
