1/4 — I cached the article but no complicated research is necessary: both the original (slightly cropped from EOS 1DX2 sensor) and cropped (3817x2545 px) images of @vanessa_vash are on @AP store. Search for “markus schreiber“ in editorial images.
2/4 — The crop was probably done with Lightroom, not in-camera, and EXIF data show that images may have been modified in US: creation EXIF 11:32:41 - AP store 05:32:41 (-6 hours). Anyway I would expect an authoritative statement from @SchreiberPhoto photojournalist.
