Dear @maddow @MaddowBlog,

Please listen to this video. @TrueSeal3 speaks here for over 100 million Ethiopians, including the majority of the US diaspora.

The rapidly escalating #Ethiopia #Tigray crisis is a proverbial political iceberg bearing down on the @joebiden Admin.
CC @JoyAnnReid, @TiffanyDCross.

This is a live hot war which is at risk of spiraling out of control absent a more rational and informed policy stance being adopted quickly by the US State Dept. #AfricanLivesMatter.
CC @CrookedMedia @ChrisCoons @SenJeffMerkley @benrhodes @PodSaveAmerica

Heads Up Folks: The rapidly metastasising situation in Ethiopia is a US foreign policy debacle which is about to explode in your faces.

Listen to this video and the one in the OP.

1. This is for Western Lobbyists backing Zimbabwe’s brutal regime & making profits out of the tears & blood of suffering Zimbabweans. They have previously been listed as:
@BallardFirm
@avenustrategies
@btpadvisers
Mercury Public Affairs & the UK parent Mercury International Image
2. The above is an image of Tawanda Muchehiwa, Zimbabwe’s most recent torture survivor. He’s just 22. There are more graphic pictures of brutality by the regime you are backing. It’s people like Tawanda, poor taxpayers, who are paying your fees to sugarcoat the Mnangagwa regime.
3. Tawanda was badly tortured. Mentally, the young man is traumatised. Physically he’s a wreck. Reports indicate he’s having renal failure. So @BallardFirm @avenustrategies @btpadvisers Mercury Public Affairs, maybe you have no sense of embarrassment but you can’t fool the world Image

#AfricanLivesMatter

Attention on the extremist group #BokoHaram is dwindling. Some may feel the topic isn't "sexy" anymore.

But there's still a conflict raging in the Lake Chad area. People are still getting killed. Women are still getting kidnapped.
For those who are unfamiliar with Boko Haram and what's going on in northeast Nigeria/Lake Chad region, I recommend following Abdulkareem Haruna's reporting on @PremiumTimesng

He's done brilliant some brilliant reporting

premiumtimesng.com/author/abdulka…
Al Jazeera English @AJEnglish has consistently covered the Boko Haram insurgency, when many other news outlets looked away

@newhumanitarian also has in-depth coverage, much from @Enugu62 and others.

@CrisisGroup keeps an eye on the insurgency also

In 2015, communities of Hippo Pool, Kakosa, Shimulala & Hellen in Zambia's #CopperBelt, accused Konkola Copper Mines (KCM), a subsidiary of UK multi-national, Vedanta, of poisoning their water sources, saying their rivers had become "rivers of acid"

According to the communities, KCM had been spilling Sulphuric acid other toxic chemicals into the water sources. In May 2018, police in Tamil Nadu, India, killed 13 ppl who were protesting similar environmental abuse by a Vedanta-owned smelting plant

So, in Zambia, the community elected to sue, not before Zambian courts but in London, where Vedanta has its HQ. The company cynically argued the case shd be heard in Zambia (where it can manipulate the courts). The villagers didn't trust their own courts
