There are currently no commercial flights flying out of Kabul International Airport, therefore the Afghanistan team cannot depart directly to Sri Lanka due to the recent takeover of Taliban on the country.
Hence, Pakistan had issued visas for all the players of the Afghanistan team along with the staff members to first travel to Pakistan and then fly to Colombo via Dubai.

Elections in Saudi Arabia have been historically rare. Municipal elections were held in 2005 planned for 2009. After 2 years' delay, they were held in 2011. In Sept 2011 King Abdullah granted women the right to vote & stand in the 2015 municipal elections.

In June 2021, Saudi Arabia started allowing women to live alone without permission from a male guardian. This came as a development of an earlier ruling that affirmed the legality of the independence of an adult woman in a separate house.
