Dr. Carl Christoph #Lörcher'in hazırladığı Eski ve Yeni Şehir planları temel alınarak sipariş edilen yeni planın 50 yılda 250-300 bin kişiyi kapsaması öngörülmüştür. 1928’de sonuçlanan yarışmayı 1.500 hektara düşük yoğunlukla 270 bin kişi yerleştiren #HermannJansen kazanmıştır.
#JansenPlan'ı, Ankara'yı kuzey-güney ve doğu-batı yönünde bölmektedir. Plana göre parklar, bahçeler, kale ve çevresi özgün olarak kalmakta; Bakanlıklar sitesi, #AmeleMahallesi, okulların içinde yer alacağı #KültürMahallesi ve 3.000 konutluk memur sitesi oluşturulmaktadır.
