ஆழ்வான் அவதரித்த கூரம் என்கிற இடம், பழங்காலத்திலே கூரமாநகர் என பிரசித்தி பெற்ற ராஜ்யமாக இருந்தது. அதில் இவர் தாமே அரசாட்சி செய்து வந்தார்.

கொண்டிருந்தார். அப்பொழுது ஒரு வீட்டில் கதவை தாளிட்டு சில பேர் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
உண்மையை அறிய, ஆழ்வான் அவர்கள் வீட்டின் திண்ணையில் அமர்ந்து கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர்கள் அந்த வீட்டுத்தலைவரின் பெண்ணைப் பற்றி பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
அவர்கள் பேசியதாவது, “இந்தப்
உண்மையை அறிய, ஆழ்வான் அவர்கள் வீட்டின் திண்ணையில் அமர்ந்து கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர்கள் அந்த வீட்டுத்தலைவரின் பெண்ணைப் பற்றி பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
அவர்கள் பேசியதாவது, “இந்தப்
பெண்ணின் ஜாதகப்படி அவளை மணம் புரிபவன், திருமணம் ஆன சிறிது காலத்திலேயே இறந்து விடுவான். இதை அறிந்த யாரும் இந்தப் பெண்ணை மணம் புரிய முன் வரவில்லையே”, வயது வந்த இந்தப் பெண்ணை வீட்டில் வைத்து இருந்தால் உலகம் பழிக்குமே.
