I was seated on the stage left side while Cong. Eddiebong Plaza was speaking. Out of nowhere, a man on the autism spectrum was behind me and was running towards the stage while screaming “Leni! Leni!” non-stop. I later found out that he went under the stage just to reach the

I will never forget the hopelessness I felt in the first few months of the 2020 lockdowns.

My parents would always repeat the same talking points when Marcos Sr was discussed. We've all heard it before - it was peaceful back then, crime was low and folks can go about work/business. Same old. But it's slightly different for the Chinoy experience.
They would add: Marcos was good to Chinoys. Not through cronies Lucio Tan or Danding Cojuanco (tho that may have been welcomed by the Chinoy community), but because he decreed the naturalization/assimilation of post-WW2 Chinoys.

Many, if not most, of their supporters specifically like them because they believe in the positive changes the du30-marcos regime has done.
By directly going against their mindset, there'll automatically be a big pushback in their subconscious because we are telling them that what they believe in is wrong.
