सुशांत प्रकरणात होत असलेल्या मिडिया ट्रायल संदर्भात मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात जनहित याचिका दाखल करण्यात आल्या आहेत. काही दिवसांपासून त्यावर सुनावणी सुरू आहे. आज झालेल्या सुनावणी हायकोर्टाने रिपब्लिक टीव्हीला काही प्रश्न विचारत ताशेरे ओढले आहेत.

"तुम्हीच तपास करणारे, फिर्यादी आणि न्यायाधीश होणार असाल तर आमचा काय उपयोग आहे ? आम्ही इथे कशासाठी आहोत" असा प्रश्न चीफ जस्टीस दिपांकर दत्ता व जस्टीस जी एस कुलकर्णी यांच्या बेंच ने रिपब्लिक टीव्हीला केला.
"जर तुम्हाला सत्य शोधण्यात इतका इंटरेस्ट असेल तर आधी तुम्ही क्रिमीनल प्रोसिजर कोड च्या तरतूदी बघायला हव्यात. कायद्याकडे दुर्लक्ष करणे हे निमित्त असु शकत नाही" असेही न्यायालयाने म्हंटले आहे.
