So even though this tool is only searching a fraction of the artwork #StableDiffusion was trained on, and I'm small-time, I was still able to find it has my "Darwin Took Steps" painting in the database.

Interestingly, it's scraped from @redbubble.
I removed this painting from my RedBubble store a few years ago.
I care a lot about artists getting their due, especially credit and consent. I've written a lot about copyright, sharing and effective image use, including at @sciam for 4 years. #sciart #AIart #artcred

We had an idea to demonstrate the impact artists brings to a comic script. We gave artists a one page script written by the legendary @TomTaylorMade and they put their stamp on it. #artcred

Here is a thread of the results.

Everyone has their favorite comic book event stories. For a lot of my friends it’s X-Men: Age of Apocalypse.

But my favorite?

REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN.
This is such a perfect marketing poster.

The value proposition is clear: there are four potential Supermen.

And there’s no lying: none of may be Superman.

So you go into the story with questions, excitement and managed expectations.
The great part is that by the end you’ve got Superman back AND four awesome new characters who all represent different aspects or perceptions of Superman.

It’s a crossover that gave back SO much to the fans. Everything counted and that’s still rare in these kinds of stories.
