Die Problemlage hat @KathrinGaertner im Tweet unten absolut treffend auf den Punkt gebracht. ⬇️ Viele glauben nun, #OpenAccess sei ein Allheilmittel. Einen Vorteil hat OA fraglos: Nur Publikation kostet einmalig, dann können alle kostenlos zugreifen. (2/8)
Das gleicht Ungerechtigkeit aus: Forschende & Studierende von Unis, die sich teure Zeitschriften-Abos nicht leisten können & Forschende ohne Affiliation haben Zugang & können am wiss. Diskurs teilhaben. Aber: Wenn OA-Publizieren kostet, wird ihre Teilhabe anders verhindert. (3/8)
