My name is Annie. A lot of people assume Wu is my last name when they find me on social media since it's @Annie_Wu_22.
My last name is actually Henry, which is the last name of my adoptive family. They chose to incorporate my Chinese last name as my middle name.

I was adopted as a baby and haven't been back to Asia since. I was adopted into a white family in a VERY white town.
Growing up, I never felt different – even though I was usually one of the only non-white children. In fact, I don't even think I realized this most of the time.

"I started as a Layout Artist at Pixar in 1997 and for the past 23 years, I have worked on thirteen feature films, numerous short films, TV specials and theme park projects. Beginning with ‘The Incredibles’ in 2004, I have been the Director of Photography for four features and -
two theatrical shorts. As a cinematographer, I am responsible for the cinematic design of each film and leading a team of Camera and Staging Artists to photograph, compose and choreograph the staging of each scene.
A favorite of all the films I have worked on at Pixar is the short film ‘Bao’. Like Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month, the film celebrates our unique culture.
Hawai’i is the #EndangeredSpecies capital of the 🌎and May 17th is #EndangeredSpeciesDay. But through proactive #conservation efforts, hope and beauty 🌺 remain. Here is the week’s ABC’s of #SavingSpecies throughout the Pacific islands.
