Thought I’d share some of the #books I have read this year! Didn’t think I’d done much #reading this year but I’ve definitely done better than I thought! #BookRecommendations #BookLover #ReadingList
First up Chasing New Horizons - the story of the New Horizons satellite journey to #Pluto. A fascinating look at the project and how it all came together. #ILovePluto A picture of a Lego figure ...
Next up another space related book. #Curiosity the story of the not so little #Mars rover. I really enjoyed this book as the background to the projects is fascinating. So many projects nearly don’t see the light of day. #Space #Technology #ReadingList #BookTwitter A picture of a Lego figure ...

A #journey to unknown! 🥰✌️

Nobody can help you out
It's only you, who can help yourself
To stay up, to stay motivated, to not fall, and to get up stronger even if you fall
You're the only one to lift yourself up
You're the only one to wipe your tears
As only you know what you're going through
Believe me
It's a journey to make you stronger and better
To help you cross bigger obstacles in future
These things won't even matter few years from now
But for now it does, and I understand the pain
But nobody else will, feel the same as you do
So only you can cure it
By putting a smile on your face
And getting back on track with more /confidence and determination

Discovering #water on celestial bodies is a pretty big deal—not only because water is a prerequisite for life, but also because the presence of H2O can make these bodies ideal destinations for human #space exploration.

One such planet is #Mars, which houses abundant water content. But as the #RedPlanet is very cold, most of its water is frozen;and the water that isn’t frozen exists because its freezing temperature is lowered by the salt from the Martian soil.

Éste es el hilo de los viajeros (y viajeras) que han traspasado esa frontera en una aventura dedicada a la exploración hasta alcanzar lugares donde nadie había podido llegar. #Cosmonauts #Astronauts
Va a ser un hilo muy largo...
Поехали!

OF ALL OF THE THINGS TO NOT PLAN FOR A LAUNCH YOU'VE BEEN PLANNING FOR EONS...SPACESUITS?!?!
They literally cancelled the first all-female spacewalk--a huge leap LITERALLY for women everywhere meant to encourage female representation in science related fields and a gigantic PR opportunity for @NASA --BECAUSE WOMEN DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WEAR

NASA's fab @OSIRISREx swings by tomorrow to steal some of Earth's momentum #EarthGravityAssist, so lets chat about sampling the Solar System
Earth’s inventory of planetary materials consists of dust & meteorites that land on Earth, & specimens from sample return missions (SRMs).
