CAUGHT ON VIDEO: AZ Dem lawmaker/ordained minister busted swiping Bibles from House's members-only lounge. She calls it a ' little playful commentary' for separation of church and state, Republican leadership are not laughing. #azfamily
Before Rep. Stephanie Stahl Hamilton called it 'playful', we called her -- she hung up on me, then we met her with a camera, this is the explanation we got:
Stahl Hamilton placed the Bibles in bizarre places, buried deep in furniture and in the community refrigerator. ImageImageImage

We’re waiting for a verdict to be read in the Kiera Bergman murder trail. The defendant, Jon Clark, has not showed up yet.

One of his defense attorneys says he had a different court date in the city of Maricopa at 3:30. Judge says he can have 15 mins to get here. #azfamily
The prosecuting attorney tells me if Jon doesn’t show up by 5:05, they will still go ahead and read the verdict without him here. #azfamily
For more context: I’ve been in the courtroom since 3:45 pm…Kiera’s family came into the courtroom shortly after.

One of Jon Clark’s defense attorneys explained why Jon was late due to his other court date…but Jon’s main defense attorney isn’t in the courtroom yet either.

The Yuma Sector is currently Arizona’s busiest Border Patrol sector. 27,343 people were detained last month attempting to enter the US. But only 1,764 of them were subject to Title 42 deportation. Why?

A vast majority of the migrants detained in Yuma are from countries that are not covered by Title 42 (think far away.)
That was 25,579 last month. These people become eligible for asylum consideration. That’s many more than the much larger Tucson Sector.

Why are these people from all over the world choosing Yuma, of all places? An easy answer would be the gaps in the border fence near Yuma. There are several of them near town. But that’s only part of it.

Breaking: #ArizonaAudit attorneys are set to ask a Maricopa County Superior Court judge to close Monday’s court hearing to the public and the media. The Arizona First Amendment Coalition, which represents media outlets and journalism organizations Will oppose this move in court.
Among the arguments from #cyberninjas attorneys is that they have trade secrets regarding the #ArizonaAudit, which should not be revealed to the public. They also argue that because they are working for the Arizona Senate, they are not required to make their documents public.
The attorneys for #ArizonaAudit want to file the plans to ensure the security of the ballots and election machines, as well as their plan for abiding by state election laws, under seal. That means those plans cannot be scrutinized by the public or critics.
