1. If #Ukraine can figure out a way to put a mechanized force across the #Dnipro at #Kherson, #NATO supplied armor force that has arrived could be used for a lightning strike on #Mariupol from #Vuhledar while a second force moves from #Kherson to cut Russian escape at #Armiansk.
2. With only the #Crimean bridges at #Chongar and #Henichesk available to withdraw the dilemma created by possible loss of #Mariupol could start a rout that will see #Russians abandoning more equipment to be able to escape into Crimea or in the east towards #Donetsk or #Rostov.

Yesterday I shared a video looking at the use of FN FALs in #Ukraine. Both fixed stock 50.00s and folding stock 50.61s have been seen in theatre. 1/
Yesterday I shared a video looking at the use of FN FALs in #Ukraine. Both fixed stock 50.00s and folding stock 50.61s have been seen in theatre. 1/
The PARA FALs began to appear in October with photos of crates of them shared. These are 50.61s which have a folding stock but full length barrel. Their exact origin is unclear but there's some interesting theories and leads I'm still investigating. Belgium is 1 likely source. 2/
I was able to speak with several Ukrainian servicemen who have been equipped with the FAL - one loved it, one hated it.

her forces were still in the JFO area of the Donbass. At the same time much of Russia's initial combat power was still intact. Mud was the biggest issue. They we get to Kharkiv. That was a rout and had Ukraine had a western style army with all the bells and whistles that retreat
