A tragic school shooting in Belgrade on Wednesday, May 3 left eight students and a security guard dead, with the suspected 13-year-old gunman allegedly using his father's two handguns to carry out the pre-planned attack, police say.
Six other pupils and a teacher were hospitalized, some with life-threatening injuries. The young suspected attacker, who will be placed in a psychiatric institution due to being below Serbia's age of criminal responsibility, surrendered to the police after the shooting.
The devastating event has prompted Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic to announce stricter #guncontrol measures, including a moratorium on new gun licenses, revisions of existing permits, and increased surveillance of shooting ranges and civilian weapon storage.

mit dieser angekündigt. Das hat er aber nicht nur einfach so gesagt, sondern die Mutter des Nord-Mazedoniers als Skipetarin bezeichnet, was im Serbischen/Kroatischen/Slowenischen/Bosniakischen/... ach jugoslawischem als Herabwürdigung von Albanern benutzt wird.

2-What I find interesting about the refugee/migrant crisis, particularly on social media. Is that people with little or no experience seem to be the most vocal and convinced of their opinions.
3-I’ve covered the migrantion crisis for 5 years & worked on the ground extensively. I’ve visited dozens of refugee camps & illegal migrant encampments. I’ve spent hundreds of hours with refugees & migrants. Listening to their stories and trying to make sense of this crisis.

As the #Slavic-speaking area expanded during the first millennium CE (striped area on map), Proto-Slavic transitioned to Common Slavic. The #language underwent minor changes that occurred mostly uniformly across eastern #Europe, thereby maintaining mutual intelligibility.
Around the year 1000 CE #CommonSlavic began to split into the South, West, and East branches to which all modern #Slavic #languages belong.
