Well #BBCLeadersDebate was fun.

Not much changed for me apart from I now think Douglas Ross is a bigger eejit than I did before.

For me the most important question of the night was "how will we pay for it (green policies)". This is my answer to that.

Right now, it'll be difficult to pay for many of the things we need to do to fight climate change. We would need the govt in Westminster to agree to additional funding, or cut other public services. I dont believe the former is likely, and the latter would be unpopular

However, if the Scottish government had its own central bank, and could issue its own currency (something that can only happen with independence) then the answer becomes a hell of a lot simpler.

In that case the Scottish Govt would pay for green by.....paying for it.
