Sri Krishna & Arjuna once were guests of a widow.
The widow had no children, She was all alone. But she had a cow. This cow was her only means of support.
She used to sell milk, & by selling milk she used to maintain her life
At the same time
she was a great devotee of Sri Krishna.
When Sri Krishna & Arjuna went to visit her in disguise, she was so happy to see these two divine guests.
She fed them with whatever she had in her house.
Sri Krishna was extremely pleased with her surrendering attitude & her devotion.

Once there was a king who distributed food to the Brahmanas.
One day, as he was giving out food to the priests, an eagle flew above holding a dead snake in his claws. Out of the mouth of the dead snake fell a drop of poison into the
food that the king was distributing.
No one knew or saw that this had happened, so the king continued distributing the food.
The Brahmin who accidentally got the poisoned food from the king died, & the king was feeling very sad.
One of the servants of Yamaraj (the god of death)
who has the service to distribute karma to the living beings has a problem. When this incident with the king & the poisoned food happened, however, he did not know who to give the karma to.
After all, it was not the eagle’s fault that it carried the dead snake in its claws

#bedtimestories #at11pm #Mahabharata After the end of the Mahabharata war, the Pandavs heard the sound of laughter. When they went near the source of the sound, they could see Barbarika’s head.
Barbarika was none other than the grandson of Bhima and Hidimba.
When he was a child he was taught by his grandmother Hidimba that one would be liberated even if he is killed by #Krishna
This lesson was engraved in his mind deeply & to fulfil this mission he performed austerities for years & obtained powerful weapons from various demi-gods
When the #Mahabharata war was about to begin Barbarika decided to take the side of Kauravas
When Krishna did not approve of this, he told Krishna that he would kill Pandavas at once and was about to shoot a weapon at them. Immediately he was beheaded by Lord’s Sudarshan chakra
