In December, a handful of Proud Boys — Gregory Kevin Mullin II, Joe Reilly, a yet-unknown medic, and one Geoffrey B. Young attended a protest in NYC against Drag Story Hour.

Proud Boys marched in Nassau County on Long Island on Saturday, still trying to exploit the tragedy surrounding the car attack in Waukesha, and use it as a way to launder the group's violence (and actions on January 6th) and spin themselves as 'protectors.'
Proud Boys are already testing "protection" as a defense strategy in court--claiming that their involvement in the January 6th storming of the Capitol was simply them "defend[ing] vulnerable protesters...not unlike what Kyle Rittenhouse did"
Meanwhile, the reality is that in the weeks and months before January 6th (and of course on Jan 6th itself), Proud Boys attacked people to further their violent, Far Right goals.
